Brooks 6 months

Is our baby seriously 6 months? It is flying by. We are trying to savor this time with our last baby, but he is changing overnight. We are so blessed Brooks is such a happy little guy. He mainly cries when he is done eating because it's over and he's not happy about it. :) Other than that, he is smiling and content. Brooks loves scooting around, grabbing things, watching his older siblings, being tickled, singing songs. He's got those long eyelashes like Davis and Maggie from their dad, but looks like his eyes are going to stay a hazel color. We are eating him up. His smile with his tongue out is so him and adorable.

Aunt Kat used her cool camera and photography skills to take some 6 month shots.  We did some of all 3.  Keep in mind, Aunt Kat and Mom were with all 5 of us at the park, so it was a super quick photo shoot!  Thanks, Aunt Kat!

Davis plays soccer!

Davis  played soccer this spring and Tim coached his team. There were 6 little 4 and 5 year old boys on his team and it was certainly entertaining.
Dad was an awesome coach!
Davis ran his little heart out with the pack but had no real desire to make contact with the ball. He started to kick it some about halfway through the season.

D with Aunt Ellen. Davis had a lot of fans come cheer him on. Nana, Gdaddy, Grammy, PaPaw, Aunt Anne, and Aunt Ellen. Mom enjoyed the extra hands here and there since Brooks was ready for bed before those 6:30 games were over.

Davis was excited he was #4!
Maggie wanted her picture with Coach Dad on picture day. She has already requested for him to be her coach next year when she plays soccer. :)

March 2012

In March, we went to Charleston for an extended weekend. The kids had a ball at the Children's Museum where mom used to work. Davis and Maggie were in perpetual motion, so pictures did not turn out that great. This was a cute one of Brooks with Nana.
The first part of the weekend, we stayed at the Schumachers with the moms while the dads helped do projects at the beach house. We had fun playing with our cousins and went out to the beach to say hello to all the worker bees.
Brooks enjoying him some Uncle Mark.
Mom and Aunt Kat planned a little treasure hunt for us since we are really digging pirates these days. It was fun and lasted about 30 seconds! :)
We found our treasure! Gold candy, coins, and swords! Arghhh!
Brooks was the only photogenic one again. Spoiling Dad with smiles on his birthday.
I mean, this dog is unreal with these kids. Mags putting her vet kit to work with Chuck.
Brooks and Gdad. Nana and Gdaddy came to visit at the end of March to see Davis play soccer and helped us with the kids while we, yes, CLOSED on our house! We feel very fortunate to have sold it. We are excited to look for somewhere to rent in Madison and cut that commute down that we seem to do 1-2 times a day. :)
