Memorial Day Weekend

Nana and Gdaddy came to visit and we had a ball with them! They went with us to Nolie's birthday party, we played at the pool, the playground, and showed them how to drop us off at preschool when they stay with us when our baby is born.

Happy Memorial Day! We loved spotting flags when we were out and about.

End of Year for Davis

Davis loved preschool this year. It was so fun to hear him talk about his friends at school and what he did each day. He is growing up way too fast! Maggie is excited to be joining him and going to school next year. We all loved Davis's teacher and will miss her!

It's Warming Up

We decided to take advantage of getting a membership to a pool in a neighborhood a few miles from our house. It was a great decision! We have both already improved so much with our swimming. Davis swims from one end of the pool to the other (with his float on) and loves to jump in the pool and have a new "trick" every time we go. Maggie is getting bolder and likes to hold her own when she has her float and noodle.

Mom's Birthday

We were super sweet to Mom for her birthday. She went to visit Aunt Kiki to have some girl time and we got to check out the pool with Dad. We picked out balloons while she was gone so she could enjoy them all week. Maggie picked out one with flowers and frogs and Davis picked out one with a motorcycle on it! They were so excited about them. We made cupcakes, cards, and grilled out.  Mom loved all the attention and presents we gave her.

We are all about any excuse to have a cupcake!

Mother's Day

We had fun celebrating Mom! We walked over to get her a chicken biscuit at the marina for breakfast and gave her our homemade cards. With the help of Dad we made her a cool flower arrangement that she can enjoy for a long time and framed some of our artwork. We enjoyed church and then a relaxing day at home--Mom even got to take a nap! :) Unfortunately, we didn't take many picts. Here is us with the flowers we made--not feeling the camera today.

19 weeks

Mom's belly is a growing! Davis says it's growing every day and is probably going to come out soon. He has no idea how huge Mom's belly will be. We aren't even half way through!

Davis's Art Show

We had a taste and see at Davis's preschool to check out some of their artwork! Davis was proud of his masterpieces and loves to show Maggie around.

Picking Strawberries!

We went back to the same farm we visited last year to pick strawberries. We were awesome listeners and Mom was loving it! They took turns moving the flag and carrying our bucket. We ate tons of them and had fun making some strawberry recipes later that week.

Maggie loves Mom to braid her hair these days and Mom loves that she doesn't pull it out like she does her bows!

Davis and Maggie both love to be such helpers and we love watching them be so independent! We are hoping this helpfulness carries over to helping with the baby!

Whenever we get excited about something, Davis is right there with us. He kept telling Tim how great the new floor he installed was and how proud he was of him!

After Maggie found her baby's tutu, she had to bust one of hers out too. And of course they went to the gym like that!

Baby Birds

We were so excited that a bird decided to make her nest in our hanging planter by our front door. Davis and Maggie loved checking the eggs until they hatched and then watching them outgrow their nest. Happy springtime!

Our dads and PaPaw went on a Men's Retreat with PaPaw and Uncle Andy's church for the weekend. We met up at Grammy's on Saturday and had a slumber party! Davis was a little outnumbered, but we had a ball! He was excited when the men came home so they could wrestle with him!
