Easter Day

We enjoyed going to our church for Easter this year. We had a yummy lunch at the Rogers in the afternoon and had fun playing with our cousins, Alexis and Claire.

Egg Hunting

We got to go on lots of egg hunts, not even counting all the ones we had at home without any candy leading up to Easter.  Once Davis and Maggie realized there was candy in eggs, they weren't so interested in hunting empty eggs! Maggie was more of a go getter, running to get the eggs. Davis was a little more particular, wanting the football eggs and certain colors. We had lots of fun!

We got a big haul at Davis's egg hunt and family lunch at school. Maggie was excited she got to participate too! (Mom forgot to put our memory card back in the camera, so we only took a few with Dad's phone.) We had a ball!

We didn't get enough yet and went to our friend Nolie's for some more egg hunting...

A Fun Trip to Charleston...

Mom, Davis, and Maggie had a long weekend in Charleston visiting Nana and Gdaddy. We got to see lots of people during our stay.  (Dad wasn't able to make it this time since he had to work. We missed him!)

Had to hit up a playground our first night there...

We dyed eggs and it was an intense activity. We decided to only do it once even though we were going to do it with Dad next week! We had fun coloring them with the invisible crayon, but wanted to check them constantly, taste the dyed water, splash the colored water, crack the eggs, you name it!

We had a ball playing at the beach and having a picnic. We chased birds, built sandcastles and knocked them down, and of course ran into the water with their clothes on. Mom knows us well enough to bring a change of clothes even though the water was freezing!

Cheers for watermelon!

Davis and Mom had a date night! We went to meet up with the Schumachers to see a movie in the park. Davis was adorable---helping me carry our chairs, being such a great listener, and sitting so sweetly in my lap. It was a treat for Mom for sure!
Maggie enjoyed having Nana and Gdad all to herself for a bike ride, park, and ice cream!

Davis and Maggie loved posing with Harper. We had a tough time getting a pict of all 4 of us looking at the camera. Figure that!

We also had fun seeing Aunt Elle and Uncle Kent on Sunday.

Sunday night we met up with Aunt Kiki, Lindsay and AJ (all the way from OR) and their fams, and the Schumachers. It was so great to see them. Thankfully, we were able to catch up at a playground b/c Mom was a little distracted at dinner.

Building a Playground!

We were excited to go to Uncle Mark's for the weekend and see lots of family. Our family help construct a swingset in memory of Greatmom and Great Granddaddy Davis at their church that Uncle Mark donated. We got to stay through Sunday and go to their church for the dedication service. It was a great weekend!

We loved playing with sweet Harper

Happy Birthday Dad!

We planned to go to the Nature Center for Dad's birthday, but it poured that morning. We decided to hit up the Children's Museum since we were already in Atlanta and ate some cookie cake with Grammy and PaPaw. Mom and Dad ended the day with dinner out with some friends and we got to play with a babysitter.
