Davis Does Charleston!

Davis had a special one on one visit with Nana and Gdaddy. He soaked up their attention doing all sorts of fun activities and got to attend Vacation Bible School at their church. You have to be 4 at our church, so Davis was excited to be able to experience it with Nana and Gdaddy.

Playing at VBS. The theme was shake it up cafe.

Enjoying one of our snacks!

Maggie One on One

We enjoyed having Maggie by herself for a few days while Davis was with Nana and Gdaddy. She will have her turn in Charleston later this summer. Unfortunately, our activities were limited due to Maggie being sick with an ear infection. It was still a treat to have one on one time with her and getting to hold her whenever we wanted when she was sick!

Visiting Uncle Mark

We squeezed in a visit with Uncle Mark and it was a blast, as always. We had fun playing on the lake and catching up. The Schumachers came too, so we had fun playing with them!

Kristy's Visit

We were so excited to see Mrs. Kristy, even though it was for only 24 hours! We met her in Atlanta and had lots of fun. We wish you and your family lived closer! It was a treat!

We ate and played at the Mall of GA. Here we are on the train.

We went to a super cute puppet show. It was a combo of Little Red Riding Hood and the 3 Little Pigs.

Cheers to Dad!

We love us some Dad time, so tried to treat him extra special. We got biscuits and were extra good at church! :) Dad requested a lowkey day, so that's what we had. Davis and Maggie helped wrap Dad's gifts on Saturday and then Davis told Tim when we got downstairs exactly what we got him! So much for keeping it a secret! We are so lucky to have a dad who loves us so much and takes great care of us! Love you Dad!

Lake Vacation

We decided to plan a trip with just the four of us (5 counting Chuck!) this summer and we had a blast. Dad took the whole week off work and we played and relaxed at Lake Burton. Aunt Elle, Uncle Kent, and Aunt Kiki came for 2 nights and we had so much fun with them.

We overlapped with Grammy and PaPaw for a few hours. PaPaw went swimming with us.

Dad took the 2 of us on quite a few canoe rides. We sat so still and loved it. Maggie called it the baby boat.

Why is it so much fun to dig our hands in the dirt?

We tie dyed shirts and wore them to check out all the trout at the fish hatchery.

Maggie wanted to be co captain on every boat ride

D letting Chuck take him for a ride in the lake. Chuck loved swimming with us!

We went tubing down the river and it was a blast! Davis wanted to stop and swim the whole time. Maggie liked swimming but didn't like any of the scrawny rapids we went on. We went out to lunch in Helen, too.

Davis and Uncle Kent went tubing. Dad enjoyed Uncle Kent wrestling with me so he got to have a little break. D also jumped off the high dock a few times, but we didn't get a picture. It's like 15-20 foot drop!
