A Fun Trip to Charleston...

Mom, Davis, and Maggie had a long weekend in Charleston visiting Nana and Gdaddy. We got to see lots of people during our stay.  (Dad wasn't able to make it this time since he had to work. We missed him!)

Had to hit up a playground our first night there...

We dyed eggs and it was an intense activity. We decided to only do it once even though we were going to do it with Dad next week! We had fun coloring them with the invisible crayon, but wanted to check them constantly, taste the dyed water, splash the colored water, crack the eggs, you name it!

We had a ball playing at the beach and having a picnic. We chased birds, built sandcastles and knocked them down, and of course ran into the water with their clothes on. Mom knows us well enough to bring a change of clothes even though the water was freezing!

Cheers for watermelon!

Davis braving the cold water!

Davis and Mom had a date night! We went to meet up with the Schumachers to see a movie in the park. Davis was adorable---helping me carry our chairs, being such a great listener, and sitting so sweetly in my lap. It was a treat for Mom for sure!
Maggie enjoyed having Nana and Gdad all to herself for a bike ride, park, and ice cream!

Palm Sunday at our grandparents' church

Davis walked with the big kids waving his Palm frawn
Davis and Maggie loved posing with Harper. We had a tough time getting a pict of all 4 of us looking at the camera. Figure that!

We also had fun seeing Aunt Elle and Uncle Kent on Sunday.

Sunday night we met up with Aunt Kiki, Lindsay and AJ (all the way from OR) and their fams, and the Schumachers. It was so great to see them. Thankfully, we were able to catch up at a playground b/c Mom was a little distracted at dinner.

Building a Playground!

We were excited to go to Uncle Mark's for the weekend and see lots of family. Our family help construct a swingset in memory of Greatmom and Great Granddaddy Davis at their church that Uncle Mark donated. We got to stay through Sunday and go to their church for the dedication service. It was a great weekend!

We loved playing with sweet Harper

The big kids watching a movie since none of us wanted to nap!

Lots of people helped build the new swingset

We were busy doing crafts, having egg hunts, and eating oranges

Our moms were excited for us to have a tire swing pict since they have one of them when they were little girls!

Happy Birthday Dad!

We planned to go to the Nature Center for Dad's birthday, but it poured that morning. We decided to hit up the Children's Museum since we were already in Atlanta and ate some cookie cake with Grammy and PaPaw. Mom and Dad ended the day with dinner out with some friends and we got to play with a babysitter.

Helping Dad get ready for new floors. We were excited to help and quickly grabbed our tools.

D looks good on a waverunner at a local festival!

Loving our balloon art. Maggie got a ladybug bracelet and Davis and Landon got dogs.

Maggie was too funny wanting Landon to dance with her. She isn't shy to get out and dance like her Momma!

At a picnic with our Sunday school class.

Playing in the rain one spring morning. Love the puddles!

Aunt Anne and Aunt Ellen brought Peter Pan over and we had a movie afternoon with them. We ate lots of popcorn too!

Baby to be...

Mom's belly is growing...14 weeks

Although we are not going to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl until September, we have picked out  names. If we have a boy, he will be Brooks Jackson. Brooks is a name we both loved and Jackson was Tim's granddaddy's middle name. If we have another girl, we are going to name her August Marie. August is a variation of Elizabeth's dad and granddad's Augustus and Marie is from Tim's grandmother. We are so blessed to have one of each and just pray for another healthy little one!

Davis wants a brother since he says he already has a sister. Maggie likes to refer to it as her baby.  They are both talking about it more since Mom is starting to show.

Fun News!

As most of you know, we are super excited to share that we are expecting baby #3! We are due at the end of September and are thrilled to add to our family. We'll post picts of the mom's preggers belly soon!

We love Riverbanks!

We decided this week it would be fun to combine an adventure to the zoo with seeing Nana and Gdaddy. We went on Sunday afternoon and loved it, as always.

Enjoying Springtime!

We have been loving playing outside in this beautiful sunshine! We hope it's here to stay!

Drinking Mom's water is so much tastier than mine!

Our little climber!

We found a new playground we hit up over the weekend.

This was a fun piece of equipment we loved playing on.

Davis had a Wild West Round Up at school. He's ready for school--except he wore his hat and left his stick horse at home!

Maggie and Mom stopped by to check out the Wild West Adventure.  Maggie loves to pretend he is part of Davis's class!

Panning for gold...
