Maggie's Fun in the Upstate

Maggie and Mom were planning to have a girls weekend with Aunt Kiki, but Aunt Kiki had the flu. We were all sad, but so lucky that Aunt Doo and Uncle Jack opened up their home to us. We had a ball with them and then spent a night with Aunt Elle and Uncle Kent and D.

Hanging out

Loving some of Aunt Doo's dog moonpie

I had fun helping Aunt Doo feed all her animals on Saturday morning

Mom, Aunt Doo, and I went to go feed the ducks

The ducks weren't very hungry, but Moonpie was!

I was so excited to hold Moonpie's leash and walk her.

Maggie and her new bestie!

Uncle Jack teaching me how to use a camera.

Playing at a playground with Aunt Elle and Uncle Kent

Davis's Weekend with Aunt Elle and Uncle Kent

I don't know who was more excited for a weekend of one on one time--Davis or Lauren and Kent? They had tons of fun stuff planned and Davis ate it up! Everything they did isn't even pictured--ice cream outing, haircut, Chick fil A. Not D's average weekend!

Playing at one of the three playgrounds he went to and loving it

Playing with Aunt Elle

Uncle Kent wanted to find a fun movie I hadn't seen. We watched Homeward Bound and I wanted to hold the cover the entire movie. (I talked about it so much, Mom wanted to rent it when we got home so she could see it again!)

We went to the Children's Museum and there was so much fun stuff to do!

Sometimes dogs need bandaids too

Milking a cow. You know  I loved the farm exhibit!

Uncle Kent spelled my name and I spelled his! This huge light bright is way cool!

Hanging Out

Who says it's too cold to have ice cream in January? My great granddaddy Davis would certainly agree!

Loving it!

We had a fun weekend with Grammy and PaPaw while Mom and Dad tackled some projects at home and had a date night!

Maggie looks so grown up in this picture to me. It's going too fast!

We had fun at the park with Mom and Aunt Kay before meeting up with Nana and Gdaddy.

We had a long weekend in Charleston and lots of fun with Nana and Gdaddy while Mom tagged along with Dad to a trade show.

We had another little dusting and although there wasn't much to play in, Davis and Maggie insisted we check it out.

Davis loved making and following his tracks with his lawnmower. Not sure what he is doing here!

Maggie is 2!

It's hard to believe Maggie is 2! She loves to tell everyone how old she is now! We had a fun filled day with all of her favorites. We visited a place with lots of cool exhibits especially for toddlers and preschoolers where her and Davis had a ball playing. We ate Chick fil A for lunch, played at a playground at the mall, went for a train ride with Dad, and then enjoyed a cookie! The kiddos snoozed on the way home and then we opened presents, decorated my big girl room, and had some italian for dinner (Mom loves that Maggie's favorite is hers too!).  We ended the day with cupcakes which we all enjoyed!

Playing with the trains at Imaginations at play

Davis and Maggie painting--she loved this part!

Maggie bringing Davis some of his favorite--corn--from her run to the Farmer's Market!

Maggie giving her animal a shot and playing vet

Davis loved the trains and sand table

Enjoying some of the food her and Dad grilled out

It's hard work being such a cute birthday girl!

Ready to open gifts!

Davis helped a lot and was excited for Maggie with all her new things

Mom made a paint pallette since Maggie loves to paint!

She was excited to blow her candles out

The icing is all she wanted of course

A Belated Post...

We had some pictures taken of our children in late November. Many of you saw them on our Christmas card, but here are some of the shots to share.

Davis, 3 yrs, and Maggie, almost 2 yrs

They smiled the most when they were looking at one another!

Maggie is leaning over to kiss D--she is our affectionate one!

Mom is a huge fan of ours!

Playing in the Snow!

We got about 4 inches of snow and then lots of sleet and ice. Schools around us were closed for the whole week! We were sad it wasn't packable enough to build a snowman, but we did have a little snowball fight! :)

Right before the snow came, Aunt Anne and Aunt Ellen came by to visit and bring us our Christmas presents. We had so much fun!

Maggie loving the snow.

Davis trying to sled, but the icy layer on top didn't lend itself.

Just checking it all out!
