Maggie and Dad had a date night too. Of course Maggie picked out a dress to wear and made sure Dad's shirt coordinated!

They had knights that talked to us!

We got to fight the knights! They made us balloon swords to take home and knight shields to color.

We even got to pet a horse and go home with coupons! D was excited he had his tunic from Mags birthday party. Our friends we met there wore theirs, too.

Pickin' Strawberries

We met Aunt Anne in Athens to do a picnic and pick some strawberries. Davis didn't understand why I didn't make him a strawberry shirt, so we decided to bust out some tractor ones for him and Brooks since we were going to a strawberry farm. :)

Maggie filling up her bucket. We made lots of different strawberry treats and snacks, but Maggie didn't want to eat them this year. She did a great job picking!

Davis had trouble filling up his bucket at first since he kept eating them. He remembered all the details about picking strawberries from a book we had read and reminded us. "Get the big red juicy ones and get them gently and don't squish them in your hands."

Easter 2012

Maggie with one of the Easter treats we made. They looked cuter than they tasted. :) We did lots of Easter baking this year--and of course crafts too!

We had lots of Easter egg hunts in our backyard leading up to Easter.

Morning of Easter parties at school. Mags wasn't feeling the picture, but the boys were.

We painted glue and decorated with colored sand on our Easter eggs this year. Davis and Maggie loved it and it was so much more hands on for them than the dying. We will do this again!

We made some cinnamon biscuit crosses and they were super yummy and it was a baking thing that Davis and Maggie full on did.
