Christmas at home
The weeks leading up to Christmas this year were truly magical this year. Maggie and Davis were full of questions, in awe of Santa and his reindeer but loving to talk about the Christmas story and baby Jesus.
We had a little Christmas party with the 5 of us, when we had finger foods for dinner and exchanged presents. Davis and Maggie were adament that they shop for Mom and Dad, so those shopping experiences were quite the adventure! It was fun to have our Christmas at home, even though it wasn't on Christmas day.
.Davis and Maggie were excited about their new sleeping bags and slept in them that night. Hopefully some camping adventures will be in the near future.
We had an Elf on the Shelf that came to us this year and we named him Bucky. He tended to get into whatever we got into during the day when we were sleeping at night. Making a smore--guess he got the idea when we had marshmallows in our hot chocolate!
Bucky must like firetrucks, too.
Making a snow angel after he saw us bake cookies. He's silly!

Christmas at Lake Burton
I apologize that it is February and I am just posting Christmas picts. Things are insanely busy at our house and something had to go by the wasteside--and posting on the blog was it. We will try to catch you up on our crazy wonderful life!
We had a wonderful time with the Rogers family at the Lake. We celebrated the weekend before Christmas and it was really relaxing--even though there were 7 kids ages 6 and under.
Santa made a personalized visit to Lake Burton to visit the Rogers family! It was great to catch up with him!
The whole fam with Santa
All the cousins with Santa. The kids played so well together and had so much fun!
Davis and Maggie with Grammy and PaPaw
Santa reading the letter we sent him. So cool!
Brooks' first visit with Santa. He has on the same outfit D did when meeting Santa the first time.

School Program
So mom was super special with the camera and the picts are fuzzy, but Davis and Maggie were really cute at their little preschool Christmas program.
Davis took the motions seriously and sang his little heart out. He was a shepard
Maggie didn't sing much but smiled the whole time. She was a little lamb!
Grammy and PaPaw surprised us and came. Davis yelled PaPaw when he first saw him and then covered his mouth like he forgot he wasn't supposed to yell. :) It was too cute. This is when he saw him at his class party.
